About the Role
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two years of maintenance experience, preferably in a condominium or apartment building environment
Experience with planning and follow-through of seasonal duties
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects/tasks
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to utilize hand tools and small power tools to complete repairs/tasks
Maintenance skills associated with the upkeep of building interiors and exteriors (examples: replacing light bulbs, painting, watering lawns, picking up and emptying trash, repairing/tightening railings, small appliance repairs, filling water softeners, etc.)
Assist Association Management staff as necessary
Mindful of surroundings and instinct to respond to needs without instruction
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday
Ability to understand and utilize software systems to receive, track, update and close assigned work orders
CPO license preferred (not required)
Boiler license preferred (not required)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Consistent walking and standing are required
Consistent monitoring of email, texts, and phone calls during work hours
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to move and stand on a ladder
