About the Role

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Two years of maintenance experience, preferably in a condominium or apartment building environment 

  • Experience with planning and follow-through of seasonal duties

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects/tasks

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Ability to utilize hand tools and small power tools to complete repairs/tasks

  • Maintenance skills associated with the upkeep of building interiors and exteriors (examples: replacing light bulbs, painting, watering lawns, picking up and emptying trash, repairing/tightening railings, small appliance repairs, filling water softeners, etc.)

  • Assist Association Management staff as necessary 

  • Mindful of surroundings and instinct to respond to needs without instruction 

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

  • Ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday

  • Ability to understand and utilize software systems to receive, track, update and close assigned work orders

  • CPO license preferred (not required)

  • Boiler license preferred (not required) 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Consistent walking and standing are required

  • Consistent monitoring of email, texts, and phone calls during work hours

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 

  • Ability to move and stand on a ladder
