Gassen’s Monthly Outreach Events
Gassen’s monthly Outreach lunch on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 was sponsored by Complete Building Solutions (CBS). CBS brought all kinds of yummy pasta and salads from Buca. Each Gassen employee attending the lunch brought a food donation for People Reaching Out to Other People (PROP). PROP is a volunteer-driven organization in Eden Prairie serving the residents of Chanhassen and Eden Prairie. PROP supports those who are struggling by providing emergency grocery and financial assistance, as well as resources and support to regain self-sufficiency.

Samaritan’s Purse International Relief – Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child sends shoe box gifts to needy children. Volunteers build boxes by selecting items from the OCC’s list and adding a personal letter and photo. Gassen employees participated in Operation Christmas Child and donated 43 shoe boxes of toys and necessities! The shoe boxes will be sent to boys and girls around the world.

Thanksgiving Meal Appeal
Thanksgiving Meal Appeal prepares meals for families in need. The meals will be given to families served by the Little Earth of United Tribes Resident Association and Extension Services on the north side of Minneapolis. Gift certificates will be donated to the Phillips Community Initiatives for Children (Minneapolis) Holy Rosary, Little Earth, Guatemalan Families and Extension Services. What a great way to brighten a family’s holiday! Gassen employees provided 15 meals and gift certificates for the Thanksgiving Meal Appeal. Way to go, Gassen employees!

Teen Challenge provides youth, adults and families with an effective and comprehensive Christian faith-based solution to life-controlling drug and alcohol problems in order to become productive members of society. By applying biblical principles, Teen Challenge endeavors to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive.

People Reaching Out to Other People (PROP) is a volunteer-driven agency serving the residents of Chanhassen and Eden Prairie. An unfortunate event can bring hardship to any of us: a job loss, a medical crisis, a bad economy, or personal or family issues. People sometimes find themselves unable to meet some basic needs, such as food and housing. PROP supports those who are struggling by providing emergency grocery and financial assistance, as well as resources and support to regain self-sufficiency.

Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals formulated specially for starving children, and we ship the meals to more than 60 countries around the world. Bethania Kids
Bethania is a Christian mission bringing wholeness and hope to poor, abandoned and disabled children in India. The Bethania Ministries are located in the states of Tamil Nadu and Andra Pradesh in southeastern India. Currently, the ministry involves three different strategic interventions:
To provide loving, nourishing homes for orphans in the Bethania Kids Home.
To care for children with cerebral palsy and other disabilities in nonresidential and residential Bethania Rehabilitation Centers for the Disabled.
To provide immunizations, basic care, and education through daycare and after-school care for impoverished children in Bethania Kids Centers.

ChristianCyberMinistries is called by God to encourage worldwide Christian growth using the Internet. It is widely accepted that 85% of today’s adult Christians made their first commitment to Christ before the age of 18. The teenage years in Western society wreak havoc with these commitments. It isn’t until many years later that the vast majority of these commitments find fulfillment.
